A titanic bioweapon owned by a mega-corporation takes some creative liberties with some instructions from a wealthy client.

"You may want to rephrase your instructions, sir."

A human man on the other end of Nir's communication device sneered. "What? Are they too hard for you to understand from being a huge dumbass or something?"

Nir stayed silent as she glanced at her surroundings. Some buildings were on fire due to the previous fighting, and the corpse of a fallen kaiju could barely be spotted in the distance. Emergency services were doing their best to contain the damage as soldiers and helicopters swarmed the area. Meanwhile, Nir herself towered over even the tallest buildings with an emotionless look on her face, not to mention tattoos embedded into her leathery hide marking her as the property of a military defense contractor.

Her voice boomed throughout the city as she spoke once more.

"Although it is true that I have disposed of feral kaijus assaulting the city, sir, that does not necessarily mean that you are safe. Yet. There may still be certain challenges during the extraction and evacuation process."

The man she was speaking to peeked out a penthouse window, where he saw her crimson red eyes staring down at him. Despite the size of the massive building he found himself on, it only reached her upper torso at best, partially blocking out the sun as her shadow loomed over him. He adjusted his black suit before talking through a flashing earpiece again.

"Look. I don't care what you have to do, Nir. I'm the client here. If you still think there's anything that's still potentially dangerous out here, get rid of it! Don't waste my valuable time! They can't exactly land on this building with my pool in the way and I just want to get the hell out of here without putting myself in any danger!"

With a huff, Nir puffed warm air from her draconic nostrils. "Just as long as you're willing to pay extra fees and compensate for any damages accordingly."

"Of course!" he exclaimed. "So don't come back here until the coast is clear!"

Nir nodded at his words. "As you wish." She then faced away from him. "Although the hostile kaijus are mostly disposed of, this city does have something of a terrorist and criminal problem. That could prove to be a problem for a man of wealth and prestige. Not to mention your corporate competitors…"

"What's that supposed to mean?" asked the man with a raised eyebrow.

Rather than answering his question, Nir walked away with a flick of her finned tail. She approached a nearby building. Due to her sheer size, damage to her surroundings became inevitable since the entire world was practically made out of cardboard when compared to the likes of her. With each step she took, traffic lights at intersections were torn down, abandoned cars were simultaneously crushed and compacted underfoot, and claws occasionally cracked the concrete itself.

Nir only stopped moving once she reached another skyscraper. "For example..." She paused to point at the roof of the structure, where armed humans were located. "There are potential assassins lurking here from a mercenary group, who are working for a company opposed to yours, albeit I do not know if their only intention is defending the building."

Overall, the aforementioned building barely reached Nir's neck. The humans on it gave her a bewildered look as they pointed their various firearms at her, including a sniper rifle. This aroused a growl from Nir. Consequently, some preemptively fired their weapons, which did almost nothing to Nir's body, and others made a beeline for the exit before descending down some stairs.

As this occurred, Nir hovered an open palm over the roof, ignoring the peashooters striking her leathery hide. Her hand promptly moved downwards, flattening anything and anyone on it with audible crunching sounds before it became inert. Clawed fingers then dug into the sides of the structure. A sway of her hips and tail suddenly collided with the skyscraper, shattering countless windows and shaking the foundations of the building itself while Nir remained unharmed.

As it shook it in place, Nir repeated her previous actions before letting the building go, backing away, and finally ending things with a powerful kick.

The entire building toppled over as a result. Debris fell onto the streets as the whole thing disintegrated. Rubble spread in all directions during the earth-shattering crash, all while Nir moved backward... unintentionally pulverizing anything too close to her feet.

"Enemy sniper eliminated." she announced through a communication device, indifferent to the resulting pandemonium.

More mercenaries on the ground opened fire from a distance. Machine gun rounds struck one of her legs, and an RPG rocket barely missed another against all the odds as it swirled and detonated against an adjacent office instead. All it took for them to stop their efforts was Nir looking over her shoulder, giving them a menacing look as she bared her sharp fangs…

Then snarled.

Within a matter of moments, Nir walked down the street towards the responsible soldiers and their infantry transport vehicles, resulting in them trying to flee with only several still trying to shoot her.

A few long strides easily allowed Nir to approach the soldiers of fortune. Naturally, she raised one foot. Her clawed toes flexed and spread out as they momentarily blocked out the sun... right before a single, simple, and powerful stomp hit the road with a resounding thud. She felt a variety of tiny pops. Once she slowly lifted her foot again with some powdered debris falling from it, the shellshocked survivors, who were mostly knocked on their asses, briefly saw what remained of their comrades on her digitigrade heel and toes... right before she immediately stomped once more… snuffing out their lives before they joined them.

Nir sneered during the aftermath. "Every time."

From there, she made a one-eighty and walked away, leaving the mess of dead mercenaries behind.

"Nir." said a human voice on the other end of her communication device.

Ignoring this, Nir focused on another nearby building. She repeatedly slammed a fist into the side of it, annihilating glass panels as she punched huge holes in it. The remaining emergency services still on the scene that survived Nir's mere presence did their best to flee from her.

"Nir!"

The titanic woman in question raked her claws across the building, where they each acted like individual longswords as they sliced sections of the structure into two, culminating in clumps falling off thanks to the pre-existing holes.

"NIR!"

She rolled her eyes upon hearing her name again. "Yes?"

"What are you doing?!"

"Eliminating any and all potential threats." she snarled. "Just as you ordered."

"Seriously?!"

"Yes." she answered in a nonchalant tone.

"I've been getting a flurry of phone calls! Now that you've destroyed those offices and wiped out their security forces, they might think I'm the one who told you to do it!"

Nir cocked her head to the side. "But you did tell me to do it. They were potential threats, afterall. Perhaps I was too unintelligent to understand your instructions, as you stated before."

He sighed before rubbing his head on the other end. "Great! Freaking wonderful! And is there a reason why you attacked other random buildings too?"

In response, Nir glanced at the one she punched several times, where civilians were evacuating from it if they survived her initial onslaught. "There could have been assassins, criminals, or terrorists within it posing a danger to your well-being. Well... maybe. Either way, you will be legally responsible for the damages and court costs since I'm considered more of a tool or a weapon rather than a real person. Hence my special legal immunities stated in Titan Industry's terms and conditions when you first accepted my services."

As she spoke, the client exited his penthouse. He strolled alongside the side of his pool until he reached the edge of the rooftop, allowing him to gaze upon the surrounding city. His face contorted upon spotting all the destruction… where firefighters were saving people from fallen rubble between ambulances evacuating maimed and crying people. Military and police forces struggled to maintain order, but they still stayed as far away from Nir as possible while nervously observing her from a safe distance.

It didn't help that Nir clearly caused some of this damage as they cleaned up her path of destruction marked by her footprints, whether intentional or unintentional.

Following a moment of silence, a single tear fell from one of the client's eyes. "This is… terrible." he muttered while Nir returned to his penthouse. "It… it's going to cost me a fortune to pay for all of this!"

"I know." grumbled Nir, her face as apathetic as before. She held up a single hand, forming a platform next to the penthouse. "Either way… we had a deal, sir. Please comply. Arrange the necessary payments when possible and walk onto my hand so that we can finally fulfill my contract."

More tears streamed down the man's eyes as he thought of all the money he was going to lose. The stock markets. Not to mention the effects on the local economy... a true tragedy for shareholders all across the city.

"You're a monster!" he cried, hesitantly climbing over the railing before falling onto her leathery white hand. "A MONSTER!"

Nir closed her eyes, gradually bringing him towards her head. To her, the client became as tiny as a grain of rice. She could still maneuver him with a single finger as he remained on the tip of it, letting her place him near her horns. He became enveloped by her white fur, which was fashioned similarly to a mohawk as it descended down her spine and tail, cushioning him. Simultaneously, the client readied a harness wrapped around his black suit to hook himself onto her body like a mountain climber.

"I know." repeated Nir with a low growl, unmoved by the distress of her client.

She then left the penthouse behind. By the time everything was said and done, the man got exactly what he paid for as Nir took a route out of the city that caused more collateral damage than usual.

Nonetheless, she technically obeyed his orders.

NIR AFTER ACTION REPORT

Version involved: Nir-Mk1

Event: Kaiju City Assault Incident #227

Executive Summary: Nir successfully disposed of feral kaijus attempting to assault a human city, as usual. A VIP requested extraction from the area due to multiple dangers and routes of evacuation becoming unavailable to his penthouse. He ordered Nir to eliminate any potential threats. She followed these orders with a very creative interpretation of them, resulting in a variety of property damage and civilian lives lost during the process.

Titan Industries launched an investigation of itself as a result and declared that it was innocent of any wrongdoing. On the contrary, the client became financially responsible for any damages rather than the company itself. The operation was successful and financially profitable nonetheless!

Just note that sometimes Nir does what someone tells them to do rather than what they want.
